We are a mortgage credit intermediary and mortgage intermediary firm. We act as the service provider between you, the client, and our product providers of the leading financial institutions. We provide our services from the selection of products provided by the Companies and Lenders we have agencies with. We recommend the product that, in our professional opinion, is best suited to you.   • Information on your physical or mental health – used with your consent we process information you have provided to us in relation to your health to provide you with life assurance or income protection products.
  • Information obtained from third parties – Information obtained through agreement with third parties such as Financial Institutions is used to help us offer you suitable products and services.

In order to provide our services and to comply with legal obligations imposed on us, Sussd Mortgages may share your personal information with:

  • Data Processors – companies that act as service providers under contract with Sussd Mortgages and only process your information as instructed by Sussd Mortgages. Your personal information is transferred securely. This would include, but is not limited to, Lenders, Stockbrokers, Insurance and Assurance Companies etc.
  • Regulators & An Garda Siochana – Regulators, An Garda Siochana and the Revenue Commissioners as needed to comply with regulations and law.

Types of Personal Data Held

Retention of your Personal Data

Data will not be held for longer than is necessary for the purpose(s) for which they were obtained. Upon lapsing or cancellation of a policy our company policy is to retain our client data for 7 years in order to fulfil our obligations under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Consumer Protection Code 2012 and our obligations under the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act 2010.

Sharing information with third parties

Personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us, including the data collected in relation to contracts of insurance with insurers for which we act as a mortgage, insurance and investment intermediaries. We share this data with the product providers we hold agencies with. We do not share your data with any other 3rd party.

Sussd Mortgages intent is to strictly protect the security of your personal information, only use the data for the purpose that is was collected for and carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration or destruction. Sussd Mortgages may send you information from time to time, about products and services of ours that we think you may like, as well as those of our partner companies.
